Employee in the polishing shop (m/f/d)
To support our artisans, we are now looking for a skilled employee (m/f/d) for the production of the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory.
Polishing porcelain:
In this work, you give the porcelain, which has been refined with gold and platinum by the painters, the finishing touches. Gold-plated parts and platinum decorations, which come out of the kiln dull and lackluster after firing, are brought to a high shine with the help of agate, bloodstone and other semi-precious stones. This work is done while sitting and requires a lot of patience and calm.
You will work closely with your colleagues from the painting department and support them in their workflow by collecting painted pieces, firing them and then distributing them to your colleagues. You will be responsible for loading and unloading the porcelain kilns and monitoring the firing process.
You will be given adequate information about all activities and will receive support from experienced employees. We offer you the opportunity to take on an exciting and responsible role in one of the last ultra-clean factories in the world.
A committed, diverse team from a wide range of backgrounds awaits you. Basic knowledge of German (A2) is an advantage; if you do not already have this, we will be happy to support you in further training.
The following link shows you a short section of the work to be done.
